Freedom Center

A five phase program that receives participants from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Recovery Pod Addiction Program upon release from jail.  Our program addresses addiction, life skills, financial responsibility, family reunification, job training, and employment.  Our program will also feature a telehealth plan, job creation on site that will create income for participants and provide for future self-funding of the Freedom Center.

Phase 1 - A four-week training period that lays the foundation of the 5 phases of the                   program.

  • Welcome and introduction to the program and rules.

  • Private residence – Basic needs such as clothing and food

  • Faith based programs

  • Addiction recovery programs

  • Volunteer Community Service

  • Required program service work hours

Phase 2 – A four-week growth track program that cover the following areas.

  • Faith Based Program

  • Addiction recovery program

  • Life Skills – personal care and personal finance

  • Volunteer Community Service

  • Required program service hours

Phase 3 - A four-week growth track that begins the transition to more accountability.

  • Faith based program.

  • Addiction recovery program

  • Life Skills training – Interpersonal skills, Family reunification and parenting skills (if applicable)

  • Job training

  • Volunteer Community Service

  • Required program service hours

Phase 4 – A four-week growth track that moves the participant to more independence                   and accountability.

  • Addiction Support

  • Mentoring program

  • Faith based program

  • Employment

  • Required savings plan, financial responsibility for rent and program fees.

  • Volunteer Community Service

Phase 5 – A four-week program to monitor participants ability to manage key areas of                 recovery and life.

  • Faith based program

  • Addiction support and mentoring

  • Follow established financial plan, rent, program fees, and savings

  • Demonstrate the ability to consistently navigate everyday life

As the participant progresses through each phase they will be evaluated.  If it is determined that more time is needed, they will be extended in that phase until such time they are able to move forward.
